The Mission's transportation department directs and supervises all transportation of items procured in the US to Israel as well as transportation of items from Israel to the US. This involve the knowledge and expertise of all license compliances, export/import of items, the logistics and coordination between Commerce and State departments.

The transportation department is also responsible for administrating contracts for storage, shipping and handling services.

The Mission purchases items in the goal of exporting the items to our end users in Israel. These purchases include many different item categories and platforms, from screws to vehicles and aircrafts. Most items have a military use, thus might be considered hazardous, flammable, and etc. The shipping of these items must comply with US commerce and/or State department which is why, during the procurement process you will be asked to fill in item information that will help us in the process of gaining the export license in compliance with US law.
