Rehabilitation

WITH A SEEING EYE, A HEARING EAR, AND A CARING HEART

The Ministry of Defense (MOD) Rehabilitation Department is a unit which aids, assists and gives services to IDF veterans who were injured during their military service. The State of Israel is fully committed to providing social and medical care for those who were injured while serving their country.

The Rehabilitation Department at the MOD office in NY gives services to those injured veterans who relocated or are in the New York area for treatment.

In addition, the Rehabilitation Department is also responsible for the Bereaved Families and Commemoration Department, which is a state body that expresses respect, esteem and commitment for the fallen in Israel's wars and their families.

The Rehabilitation and Bereaved Families Departments work to provide professional, sensitive, and exemplary service for the rehabilitation and welfare of the bereaved families.
